"CannonBall" It

You know when you were a kid how you'd run like a bat outta hell and jump right into that ice cold swimming pool rather than inch into the water one toenail at a time? That's pretty much how I get back to work in my studio after a hiatus. I don't pick an idea or an image and then do a few sketches. I pick an idea or image and I do FIFTY drawings in a row, all in one sitting.

More Altered Art I have created after viewing Sommerset Studio and Cloth Paper Scissors magazines. Altered art is amazing. In the holidays I am going to be doing at least one art journal page a day. Watch this space......

Altered art, this is what I have been creating this morning.

Magic Moments

To keep me motivated creatively I often listen to Tony Robbins DVDs.
I regularly do his hour of power morning "pick me up " exercises and usually do his goal setting workshop at the beginning of each year.
I have been doing this for the past seven years.

At the end of each year I list all the things I want to achieve for the following year and pick the top three that I want to achieve

Creating fifty mixed media cards thats what I've been doing. Here are just five

Have a go at writing poetry...

                                                                           Walk in nature....
Plant some butterfly attracing flowers ...

The hand made cards are coming ...but before this a short commercial break from my favourite supermarket, New World where all the staff are happy and friendly Merry Christmas to a brave New World

Poetry I have created.

Whenever I read stories in the paper about men who murder their wives I always want to scream because of the interviews the media conduct with the perpetrator’s friends and neighbours on television.
Time and again you read and hear words like “I can’t believe it, David was such a nice, quiet guy, the very last person we thought who would do such an awful thing.”

My answer to this is even most

My favourite posters of people and places that I have created lately...
